Well, I am in Columbus this weekend.
Not so bad except that I was planning on being in Dallas.
However it's not something i will complain too loudly about, after all my trip can be rescheduled and the lives of those in New Orleans cannot.
The city is filling with refugees by the hour and I know that they are the lucky ones. I have 5 days away from work and i am planning on using them to help as much as I can.
Many things in life can knock you down and nearly destroy you, the solution to dealing with all of them is to rebuild.
Hammer, anyone?

I'm sad that you can't be here either, girl. But this Fall, perhaps, sometime, maybe when it's cooler, you can come visit. :)But hey... computer all back up and running? Very awesome!

Dallas
Interesting about Dallas......On Monday (Aug. 29), I thought I was going to be stuck there with 2 kids (yeah....2....I'll get into that later). Anyway, instead of getting back to ATL at 4:15pm, it was more like 11:45pm. I sure was happy to hear them call our names!Sorry I've been majorly out of touch as usual. Tell Lita hello!

Hey. Check burbs. I just mailed you there, since I didn't feel like broadcasting my info ;). Also, I posted a news on burbs, but I'll ask you about it here. Do you know anything about Dil/Maile? I think she used to live outside of New Orleans. I so wish I could remember her last name, but I can't. I'm really worried about her, though it could be she lives in a completely different state now. I have an old phone # for her, but I seriously doubt it would be hers anymore, since it was when she was living with her parents.Youngest woke me up. He's sleeping again (he has sleep issues!), so I'll try going back to bed again.

Sorry to hear about Dallas falling through. The stuff in New Orleans is horrible. All of my family live in Louisiana and many of them live close to there. It seems that they are all alright, thank God, but it gets me every time I hear people making light of it or trying to make reasons for it happening. Sometimes things just happen. We've just got to do the best we can to recover from them. I hope that all these people get new homes as quickly as possible and that they find some comfort soon.
